Overview

This tour is special because it allows you to appreciate unique landscapes very close to the Andes mountain range. It also allows you to visit the original communities in the Andes of Argentina, learn about their way of life and share their experiences. Historical towns with chapels from the 17th and 18th centuries will also be observed.

  1. Day 1

    San Salvador de Jujuy - Santa Catalina

    We will cross the Quebrada de Humahuaca observing hills of colors and historic towns.

  2. Border border between argentrina and Bolivia.

  3. The Santa Catalina chapel of Siena of the 18th century will be observed. They can sit on the Lovers' balcony, watching beautiful panoramic views of the town and the river.

  4. Day 2

    Santa Catalina - Cusi Cusi

    Visit to the Farallón of the town of Cabrería, near the border with Bolivia.

  5. There will be a boxed ravine, with cardones and forests of queñoas, we will pass through the river bed, with imposing walls. Oasis in the landscape of the Puna.

  6. Colored hills will be seen in the middle of a lunar landscape. Better known as Mars Valley.

  7. Day 3

    Cusi Cusi - Susques

    Colored hills, town of colonial architecture. landscape product of volcanic eruptions in the mountain range.

  8. Broken with geological formations and colors. landscape of volcanic origin. Snowy Hills: granada hill, Ramada Hill. a pre-Hispanic chulpa will be observed in a place known as Abra de Lagunas.

  9. A mining complex that extracts lead, silver and copper will be observed.

  10. Day 4

    Susques - San Salvador de Jujuy

    Visit to the oldest chapel in northern Argentina, late 16th century. Wall paintings will be observed. Visit to the San Roque Oratory, located in the local cemetery.

  11. A reserve of rock art with petroglyphs and paintings made before the arrival of the Spaniards will be observed. Visit the path of the Stone Map.

  12. Visit to the Salinas Grandes. A salt mine located 8 km from the route will be observed. The salineros will show us the salt extraction work. Visit to an eye of water in the middle of the salt flats. This experience is accompanied by a local guide.
