+ We managed to book our stay during one of the hottest periods of the year, so we especially want to highlight that the air conditioning in our room worked perfectly and was an absolute lifesaver — and so was the pool! The property is absolutely magical, the entire place is beautifully maintained, and the accommodation is exceptionally clean. We also found the breakfast to be of excellent quality. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and we really enjoyed the lunch that could be ordered to our room as well. The nearby towns and villages are very charming — Peccioli was our absolute favorite. Pisa can be reached from the property in just under 40 minutes. Overall, we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here again!

− We do feel that the parking area and access to the property could still be improved, especially since there is essentially no other way to reach the accommodation than by car. Unfortunately, there is no shade or protection from the weather for the cars — not even a tree — so they are exposed to direct sunlight all day, and there would also be no protection in the event of a hailstorm. The access road is a gravel/dirt road, which left a significant layer of dust on all the cars. We arrived in a convertible, but because of this, we always made sure to put the roof up before driving along the access road. Also — although we fully understand that this is not something the accommodation itself can control — the condition of the access road, particularly the first section, is not ideal. Our car is quite low, and unfortunately it scraped the ground twice. Again, we know this is not the property’s fault, but anyone considering staying here with a low sports car may find it helpful to be aware of this in advance.

Lovely place with full service, just some inconveniences

+ The whole areal is really beautiful with amazing views and it really gives you the Tuscany magical vibe. We had apartment Allioto for 6 people - the interior was nicely designed, beautifully renovated furniture with a lot of storage space. The pool and its surroundings were also great, just a pity it’s open only from 8h to 19h, I think it could be longer. Breakfasts were great, lots of options from both savory and sweet, and it partly changed everyday. We have to thank the kind staff, especially Kristýna and Leonardo, who were really sweet to talk to and always helped us!

− On the other hand for the price and this type of accommodation we would expect some things different. When we arrived, almost all the dishes were dirty (+dirty bandaid on the floor) and the dishwasher didn’t wash it properly, so we had to do it ourselves. Also the kitchen was pretty unequipped, no salt and pepper, no oil, no dishwashing detergent (which is a problem if dishes are dirty and dishwasher doesn’t wash:D), you have to pay for water bottles, coffee capsules and there is no tea either. There was an AC all around the apartment which is great but it didn’t really work on the whole floor where kitchen, living room and two bedrooms were. Also the living room has only two small sofas where only four people can sit, which is weird for an apartment for 6. The building is not very soundproof, we could hear people talking under our closed windows or even neighbors being on the toilet… There is a lot of mosquitos and the windows nets have cracks in it, so we had new bites every night. Last detail is the narrow driveway, just be ready for many jumps and holes, and if you meet a car, it’s not really pleasant:D All in all, it was an amazing experience to be in such a lovely place with full service, we would just expect less of these inconveniences in such accommodation.
