Great restoration of an historic building

This place has great ambience. Staff was very friendly. The building is impressive and the hotel has done an amazing job at preserving it's history. Loved the art. The garden in the center of the hotel looks like it will be a great place to sit and enjoy the place.

We were coming from out of town for a concert that was downtown st paul. We had booked the Covington Inn a month in advance for this. When we were 20 min out we called to get parking directions clarified and were told we had no reservation and the boat had been moved and needed repairing. We were never informed for any…
