Convenient for traveling by night train.
+ I liked the very accommodating staff to let us check in earlier- we simply had to pass a couple hours while waiting for the departing night train and nowhere to stay (train station very small and no luggage storage facilities). So we could spend the late afternoon/ early evening lounging around and later cooking dinner instead of eating out at a pricey restaurant.
− If I were on a school trip I’d like it- now I’m too old to oversee the mucky surfaces in the common kitchen, to share my bathroom at the end of the hall instead of across (because “out of order”), to lug my suitcase a couple of stairs (because no ramp), to oversee the overused recliner/ sofa… and the noise from the clacking of the billard table by a group of whooping teens.
