At 14:00, enjoy a four-course Riojan lunch: blood sausage, piquillo peppers and guindillas, Riojan beans and potatoes, wood-fired lamb chops with salad, and Goxua, paired with local wines. Departure is at 15:45, returning to Logroño around 16:15. What to expect

  1. The medieval village of Laguardia is the capital of La Rioja. It was founded in the 10th century as a defense of the Kingdom of Navarra and retains its medieval layout almost intact. There await the fortified churches of San Juan Bautista and that of Santa Maria de los Reyes whose portico was polychrome by Juan Francisco de Rivera in the XVII.
