At this historical site, we'll delve into the past through a museum visit. Explore the various exhibits that offer insights into the Jesuit Legacy, witness the operation of what was once known as the "First White Weapons Factory," and discover the significant Italian influence that left its mark on this remarkable place.
1hJoin us on a panoramic tour where we'll journey past the expansive fields where the Festival de la Doma y el Folklore de Argentina comes to life every January. Finally, our destination awaits: the Jesuit Estancia Jesús María, steeped in history dating back to 1618. Spend approximately an hour and a half exploring the museum, which showcases a treasure trove of sacred Cusquenian art, archaeology, ceramics, and more.
2hNext on our itinerary is a visit to the historic Posta Sinsacate and Barranca Yaco, where the notable leader Facundo Quiroga was killed. Continuing our voyage through history, we'll reach the picturesque Estancia Santa Catalina, renowned for its stunning baroque church.
2hOur adventure persists as we transit the Sierras Chicas, meandering through a picturesque landscape adorned by charming towns. Our route takes us through the delightful locales of Ascochinga, La Granja, Villa Animi, Agua de Oro, Salsipuedes, and Río Ceballos, each offering a unique glimpse into the cultural tapestry of the region.
