Beautiful hotel and beach. Really friendly staff. Recommended.
+ We loved La Pirogue. The beach is amazing. The rooms are also great. Staff were very friendly. Some great activities included, like snorkeling nearby. And the concerts every evening were really good - we particularly loved the Pacific Live Band.
− There was a limited choice of restaurants included and even in the ones that were included in half-board, quite a few things were extras.

Schöner Urlaub
+ Eine wunderschöne, große Anlage. Die Anlage gleicht einem sehr gut gepflegten Park. Schöner Strand. Überall Palmen, Pflanzen und Vögel. Ein echtes Paradies. Wir haben ein gratis Upgrade bekommen auf ein Bungalow am Strand. Das war fantastisch. Ein eigener Bungalow. Terrasse mit Strand Blick. Schöne Zimmer mit Dusche und Badewanne. Wir hatten Halbpension. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren beide super lecker. Abends hat das Thema täglich gewechselt. Von Asiatisch zu Französisch oder Libanesisch. Es war immer super lecker und die Auswahl riesig. Das Personal war freundlich und die Rezeption extrem hilfsbereit. Ein insgesamt sehr gelungenes Erlebnis.
− Das Buffet war zu Stoßzeiten schon extrem überfüllt. Das war nervig und stressig. Zudem sind Kinder die ganze Zeit durch das Restaurant gerannt, haben gespielt und geschrien. Am ersten Abend mussten wir sogar einen Tisch suchen weil alles so voll war. Am nächsten Tag haben wir uns dann entschieden die Stoßzeiten zu umgehen. Wir waren gegen 8 Uhr morgens frühstücken und erst gegen 20:45 Uhr Abendessen. Dann war es auch super. Es war leer und es gab genügend freie Tische. Zudem waren dann auch fast keine Kinder mehr am Buffet und somit deutlich entspannter. Zudem sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass der Strand öffentlich ist und das Hotel und einen Abschnitt davon besitzt. Das bedeutet zum einen, dass man dauernd Durchgangsverkehr hat, sprich Gäste anderer Hotels oder Einheimische, aber auch Verkäufer am Strand rumlaufen. Die Verkäufer sind nicht überpräsent und auch nicht penetrant, aber vorhanden. Wir empfanden das als etwas störend. Ein echtes Privatstrand Gefühl war es also nicht. Ist wohl bei einem so bekannten Strand wie dem in Flic En Flac auch schwierig.

+ Tolle Lage, sehr schöne Anlage. Immer genügend Liegen am Strand. Strandabschnitt sehr sauber. Die Zimmer in kleinen Bungalows, hat uns sehr gefallen. Frühstück sehr viel Auswahl.
− Abendessen im Wolmar um 3000 Rupien zu teuer. Das Servicepersonal an der Bar nicht wirklich motiviert. Es gibt anscheinend das gleiche Problem wie in Europa gut ausgebildetes Personal zu finden.
