− Unfortunately, our stay at Radisson Blu Hotel, Larnaca was a huge disappointment. We chose this hotel expecting a high level of comfort and service worthy of its five-star rating and expensive price tag. Sadly, the reality was completely different. The hotel is noticeably outdated, especially inside. There was an unpleasant sewage smell in our room, and the water in the shower did not drain properly. Problems like these are simply unacceptable in a five-star hotel. We were also surprised that we had to specifically request basic amenities such as toothbrushes and bathrobes. At a hotel of this category, these items should be provided without guests having to ask. The breakfast was another disappointment. In my opinion, its quality and variety were barely worthy of a three-star hotel, certainly not a five-star property. The only positive aspect of our stay was a kind and understanding female manager who listened to our complaints, made an effort to help, and arranged for us to change rooms. We genuinely appreciate her professionalism and willingness to resolve the situation. However, despite her efforts, our overall experience remained extremely disappointing. My conclusion is simple: this hotel is absolutely not worth the money. A five-star rating should represent more than just a prestigious name and high prices. It should guarantee comfort, cleanliness, properly functioning facilities, and excellent service. I travel frequently, and I strongly believe that guests paying these prices deserve a much higher standard. In my opinion, there are far more affordable hotels in Larnaca that offer significantly better accommodation and value for money. I personally would not recommend this hotel and would certainly not stay here again.
