This is the tour where you get to know all about the eruption of Iceland's Volcanoes. Step into a luxury Mercedes Minivan and in just half an hour from Reykjavik you can be out in the volcanoes and enjoying breathtaking views. In a small group explore the moonlike landscapes created by the lava in its natural beauty while our guide tells you all about possible eruptions, trolls, hidden people, outlaws, Vikings, and old Norse gods.

The tour starts with a 50 minutes long documentary at the Volcano House. After that, we head off in a luxury 4x4 to explore the volcano system closest to Reykjavik. A wonderful tour with incredible landscapes.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

  4. A wonderful and informative museum built around a Viking Ship that was built to sail from Iceland to Greenland and North America on the 1000th anniversary of Leif Eriksson finding America. The admission fee is around 20 US$.

  5. As an optional activity, you can visit the famous Blue Lagoon and enjoy a relaxing soak in its silica-rich waters.
