Hotel Duus by Keflavik Airport

+ La proximité avec l’aéroport de cet hôtel est bien surtout quand on décolle de bonne heure!

− La douche était a moitié fonctionnelle.

Served its purpose for my one night stay.

+ It was an excellent location close to boat dock and airport. Next door to museum (not open on Monday).

− The listing said there was an elevator however it only went to the 2nd floor not down to the room on the lower floor where my room was. No staff available as it is self check in. Restaurant closed on Monday and no others close by. A lack of attention to detail in room cleaning. Shower had 3 partial containers of conditioners and no shampoo.

An odd hotel

+ Staff was responsive when communicating via Booking.com. Room was spacious for family of 4.

− Was in an odd location. It was in between a restaurant and a museum. There was no staff at the “hotel.” We stayed there for four nights and never got any services like housekeeping. No fresh towels. They gave us 4 bottles of conditioner and no shampoo or body wash.

This is a one star hotel and should be much cheaper with zero perks . Very low budget

− It was very old and dated . Our room had a broken refrigerator and when I called about the owner told me to unplug it and plug it back in . So our leftovers and soda were hot . The sink was a mini sink and the water bottle was six inches bigger that the whole sink - I called and asked if there were a special place to refill the water bottle and the tea pot - and he told me “” fill a cup in the sink and use that to fill the bottle and tea pot” Thanks . The tea pot only got to Luke warm and also leaked . Very very old worn out rags for towels . Mismatched and grey . Water pressure good and hot water hot . The door code worked one out of every 6 or 8 times . Elevator also broken . NO ONE Works there . So - there is no one to ask for help . The TV also didn’t have any Channels - so you have to sign into one of your own streaming services and everyone in the hotel can also see what you are watching . ( thanks to Bill and Maria - who had their you tube open for all to use ) Even though this hotel shows pictures of a breakfast buffet on several websites - there is NO BREAKFAST . The rester-aunt does not open till 11am for lunch . Actually very very nice homey food and soups and drinks !! And the bread was very good and the waitstaff was very good .
