Disappointing Stay – Very Unclean, Poor Service, and Broken Facilities
+ The location
− We recently stayed at the Kempinski Aqaba and were extremely disappointed with our experience. For a hotel of this tier and price point, the standards fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, we found our room was not clean at all. The surfaces were covered in dust, and the bed sheets were clearly not changed from the previous guests—we even found chips on the sheets! The bathroom and room floors had a lot of hair left on them, the bathroom smelled bad and felt outdated, and the shower head was broken. The outdoor areas were equally disappointing. At the pool, there were nowhere near enough sunbeds for guests; our group of 8 had to share a single sunbed. Down at the beach, service was practically nonexistent unless extra tips/payments were given upfront. To make matters worse, someone was smoking weed on the beach right next to babies, with no intervention from staff. We have stayed at nearby hotels in the same price range with vastly superior service and cleanliness. We will definitely not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel.

+ Mohammad Al Masri was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, welcoming, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and was always happy to assist with any questions or requests. His warm attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made our experience at the hotel even better. He is definitely an asset to the hotel!
