− La colazione non era molto varia. La struttura un po' trascurata, avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo non è ottimale. La staff è sotto organico. La pulizia è da rivedere, abbiamo trovato molti insetti in camera, purtroppo.

Beautiful area to spend time but very over priced

+ The location of the property was fantastic sitting right on the beach. You were also right in the heart of the main area for shopping and eating.

− For the cost of the property it was lacking some basic facilities such as a small fridge in the room, regular change of towels, cleaning of apartment, quality breakfast kitchen facility

+ Rocco's is in a great location, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Arugam Bay itself is fantastic, and it's easy to wander out for a meal or drink at any time.

− Unfortunately, the accommodation didn't live up to the price. We're paying around AUD $350 per night for a beachfront room, and honestly, the beachfront aspect adds very little. The ocean view is minimal, and I don't think our experience would have been much different staying a couple of blocks back from the beach at a significantly lower cost. The rooms are very basic and lack some amenities you'd normally expect at this price point. There isn't even a small fridge in the room, so you can't keep drinks cold. The staff are happy to store items in their fridge, which is appreciated, but it's not particularly convenient. Breakfast is included, but we chose not to eat there. The dining area is a concrete-floored room with glass windows and little atmosphere. It feels functional rather than welcoming and lacks the character you'd expect from a beachfront property. The pool is fine, but there is no pool bar, and many of the poolside and beachfront lounges have seen better days. Some are broken, and the cushions are worn and tired. Overall, the staff have been friendly and the location is excellent, but the property feels overpriced for what it offers. At AUD $350 per night, we expected a more polished, resort-style experience with better facilities and attention to detail. For the current price, the value for money simply isn't there.

Great stay. Great staff. Unique stay in Arugam Bay.

+ Location. Location. Location. Direct beach access, and only property on the stretch with a pool. Casual walk to surf point, or a sweet swim there with goggles on in the morning. Fabulous restaurant right next door too.

− Air conditioning units were very noisy and distrusted sleep.
