Why is Ganesh's right defense broken? … Maha Shivaratree, Cavadee, Ganesh Chaturti, Ganga Snan, Govinden? … What are we celebrating at these festivals? Hindu religion, Tamil religion? What impact on Mauritian society today? Are we so culturally distant or so close, when the waters of the Red Sea opened before Moses, like those of the Yamuna before Krishna and his father? We also propose to attend and follow the processions or prayers on specific festival dates.
