What can I book on RentoRika?

Hotels and flights are booked here directly. Tours and activities, eSIMs and car rental are completed on the partner's own site, which we link you to.

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Bookings are made with your email address, and your voucher is reachable through a private link sent to that address.

When is my booking confirmed?

Accepted Answer

Immediately after payment. The confirmation and voucher are emailed at once, and the same voucher stays available at the link in that email.

Why does a flight booking ask for my passport details?

Accepted Answer

Because the airline will not issue a ticket without them. Name, date of birth, nationality and document number go to the supplier and the carrier for that purpose only. Enter the name exactly as printed in the document — airlines refuse boarding on a mismatch, and that cannot be undone afterwards.

Do you charge a service fee?

No. The price you see is the supplier's price. We are paid a commission by the supplier, out of their side, not added to yours.

Who takes the payment?

The card form belongs to our supplier's payment provider and is displayed inside our page. Card numbers are entered into their system and never reach our servers — we are told only whether the payment succeeded and for how much.

Which currency am I charged in?

The supplier charges in its own currency. Where we display a converted amount it is indicative, and your bank's rate on the day decides the final figure.

The price changed between the results list and checkout.

Prices come from suppliers in real time and move. The list shows what was reported when you searched; the price that binds is the one confirmed at the payment step, which is why it is shown again there.

Can I cancel?

The conditions belong to the rate you booked and are shown before you pay. Cancelling through us cancels with the supplier.

How much do I get back?

Accepted Answer

Whatever that rate's rules give you. A non-refundable rate can still be cancelled, but it returns nothing — we show the actual refund figure the supplier reports rather than a comforting one.

I cannot find my voucher.

Accepted Answer

It is in the confirmation email, and the link in it opens the voucher at any time. If the email did not arrive, write to support with the email address you used and we will resend it.

Something went wrong during payment and I am not sure the booking exists.

Accepted Answer

Write to us. Every reservation is recorded on our side before the card form is shown, precisely so that a failed redirect cannot lose it. We can find it from your email address.

Where do ratings and reviews come from?

Accepted Answer

From Tripadvisor, attributed on the page. We reproduce them and do not filter out unfavourable ones. Their API returns at most five reviews per place, so the full set lives on the place's Tripadvisor page.

How fresh are the prices and the weather?

Hotel and flight prices are fetched live for your dates. Weather, indicative price levels and place details are cached and refreshed on a schedule; the page shows when.

Why do some cities have much less information?

Because we only publish what we have. A destination with thin data gets a shorter page rather than filler written to reach a word count.

What is an eSIM and will it work on my phone?

Accepted Answer

A digital SIM installed from a QR code, so you have data the moment you land without roaming charges or a phone shop. It needs an eSIM-capable phone that is not carrier-locked; the partner lists supported devices before you buy.

Does my usual number keep working?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The eSIM is a second line for data; your normal SIM keeps receiving calls and texts, which matters for bank codes.
