Perfect place for holidays in Durres

+ Our stay at the Salli Hotel was absolutely wonderful!!! We spent ten nights there, and it was the best experience we had in Albania!!! Angela is a real gem of Albania, Durrës, and the hotel. We are truly grateful to all the hotel staff, and especially to Angela, for the warm welcome and hospitality, and for making us feel like the most welcome, cherished, and comfortable guests during our stay in Durrës. It really felt like we had come to visit relatives to relax. The beach is right nearby, and our windows and balcony overlooked the beach directly, above the restaurant. The room has an absolutely excellent air conditioner, which really saved us during the intense August heat. The room has all the necessary amenities, all the towels, slippers, and a comfortable shower. The beds are very comfortable. A safe will be provided upon request. If needed, there is a minibar you can use or choose not to. The rooms are on the second floor, there is a small staircase, and many guests complain about it, but it wasn't a problem for us at all. If you're traveling with your family and not just with young kids or fragile guests, it's really not an issue. And what's more, Angie herself is always eager to help carry your bags and get them upstairs. All the Salli staff were constantly eager to be helpful and ready to assist in any situation. The Adriatic holiday was a success!

+ What a fabulous place! The location on a beautiful private sandy beach. Comfortable room with nice towels for the room and for the beach. Breakfast was lovely - it’s à la carte but you can order several things off of the menu, and all is included (even the lovely cappuccinos we had every morning). A special thank you to Angela at the front desk. She was so welcoming and kind and checked in with us every morning to make sure we had everything we needed. And to Dea in the restaurant, who was so attentive and sweet (as was her male coworker, whose name we did not get).

− Not a big deal, but the room does not have a lot of space to store your things.

+ fantastic hotel, with fantastic staff. As mentioned in previous comments, excellent breakfast, free beach chairs, beach towels. We had a lovely balcony, nice music from the restaurant downstairs. But the greatest value of this hotel was the staff, the heart of the hotel Angela, who was there at every step and knew all the guests. Very diligent beach staff Andi (he joked and spoke 4 languages) and the restaurant staff, special thanks to one waiter whose name we unfortunately don't know (but we know that his wife was Polish). We ate in the restaurant several nights, the food was delicious, the restaurant was more inviting in the area, as guests we also got a 10% discount. Be sure to book a table. A lovely cat with her cubs always visited us at breakfast, we always gave them food and clean drinking water. It was previously written that she had 4 cubs, we saw her with 2 cubs.

− They didn't ruin our vacation, but I would add a few more racks in the bathroom and replace the pillows with better quality ones.

+ Great location - the beach is right in front of you. The sunbeds are included in the total price! As is the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help - we had a problem with the cooling of the AC, but when we told the staff about this, they arranged its fixing within the day and the problem was solved. Considering how hard it is to park in Durres, the space next to the hotel is a saviour in that regard. That being said, that space is still narrow, and parking handling (between guests) can get challenging at times. Nevertheless, the staff is eager to help with that, too!
