Overview

Every departure includes your own licensed English-speaking guide plus a private vehicle and driver – only your group. Price per person drops as your group grows (1–8 travellers). A slow, private 5-day holiday in Turkey’s tea country, built around wooden bungalow stays in Fırtına Valley and on the Ayder Plateau (about 1,350 m). It suits couples, honeymooners and families who want nature, river sounds and local food more than long drives – daily driving is usually under two hours. You cross Ottoman-era stone arch bridges, climb to the 14th-century Zilkale fortress, soak in the Ayder thermal springs, hike to Huser Plateau for Kaçkar Mountain views and visit a working tea factory and Kız Kalesi (Maiden’s Castle) on a rock in the sea. Your own vehicle and driver, flexible timing and no strangers. Rafting, zipline or a candle-lit dinner can be added on request. Entrance fees are not included.

    Trabzon Airport – Rize Tea Garden – Fırtına Valley

    Your driver meets you at Trabzon Airport and drives east along the coast to Rize for a first glass of tea in the hilltop tea garden.

  3. Day 2

    Fırtına Valley: Stone Bridges, Palovit Waterfall & Zilkale

    Explore the old stone arch bridges of Çamlıhemşin, Palovit Waterfall and the 14th-century Zilkale fortress above the river. Optional rafting or zipline.

    Ayder Plateau – Gelintülü Waterfall – Thermal Springs

    Climb to the Ayder Plateau, walk to Gelintülü Waterfall, try muhlama for lunch and relax in the thermal springs.
